Hi Guys,

First of all thanks for commenting on my blog. It's nice to know I'm not writing these for myself!

I agree with you Brendan that the Egypt logo and the Eight logos are genius but the gulp logo is my favourite in the whole list. The uvula is genius, plus the font is chunky; pretty cool.

I like the sports logo idea, you can be expecting a blog on that shortly. If you have any recommendations don't hesitate to let me know.

I'm huge into sports logos, so corporate brands aren't really my thing. That said, Egypt, Eight, Gulp and Wiesinger Music are wonderfully creative.

The ankh forming the 'T' on Egypt is so simple, but so brilliant.

How can you not be amazed by the genius of Eight? Ideas like that drop by less often than comets, it seems.

The uvula (that thing that hangs down from the back of your mouth) forming the 'U' in Gulp doesn't immediately jump out at you. You have to give it a second, then it hits you. Awesome.

And you've got to love the depiction of the paino keys on WM. Again, clean and simple, but very effective.

Those four I'd consider to be in the same class as the old Hartford Whalers logo or the Milwaukee Brewers ball-in-glove emblem.

The rest are cool and asthetically pleasing, but they're just a step behind.
